There are two Bundesliga matches plus a DFB-Pokal final left to be played. It’ll be a tough ask for Kane to break Gerd’s record, but it just goes to show the heights he and the team reached and how invaluable he is to the team. The former Tottenham Hotspur attacker is also trying to chase down Lewandowski’s 41-goal tally from 2020/21.

Kane will need nine goals in two games to break it.
