Angelo Leo vs Ra’eese Aleem is canceled due to Aleem missing weight

Aleem missed weight on Friday for the featherweight (126 lbs) title bout, which was set to see Leo defend his IBF title.
Leo first weighed in at 128. 8 lbs, and a second attempt so him get down to 128, still well over the limit. Leo will be paid his full, $147,000 purse, according to ESPN.

The good news is that those set for the undercard aren’t also out a fight date. Heavyweight prospect Pryce Taylor and super bantamweight Ashleyann Lozada will also still get to fight.
