UCLA softball's Megan Grant ties 31-year-old NCAA single-season HR record with 37th homer

The senior joined rare air on Friday night when she tied Laura Espinoza for the most home runs in NCAA single-season history. In the bottom of the second inning against Wisconsin in the Big Ten tournament semifinals, the left-handed Grant went the opposite way for her 37th homer of the 2026 campaign, matching the long-ball total that Espinoza accumulated at Arizona in 1995. Espinoza accomplished that feat in 72 games.
