The UFC 328 final faceoffs at ceremonial weigh-ins featured more than just Khamzat Chimaev vs. Sean Strickland.
NEWARK, N. J. – UFC 328 ceremonial weigh-ins are in the books, and the fighters came face-to-face one final time before Saturday's event.
The weigh-ins took place at Prudential Center, which hosts the card ( Paramount+ ). UFC 328 is built around a pair of championship fights: Middleweight champ Khamzat Chimaev (15-0 MMA, 9-0 UFC) takes on Sean Strickland (30-7 MMA, 17-7 UFC) in a heated headliner, while flyweight champ Joshua Van (15-2 MMA, 9-1 UFC) looks for his first defense against Tatsuro Taira (18-1 MMA, 8-1 UFC). The featured bout features heavyweight contenders Alexander Volkov (39-11 MMA, 13-5 UFC) vs.
Waldo Cortes-Acosta (17-2 MMA, 10-2 UFC), while the rest of the main card includes ranked welterweights Sean Brady (18-2 MMA, 8-2 UFC) vs. Joaquin Buckley (22-7 MMA, 11-5 UFC) and veteran lightweights King Green (34-17-1 MMA, 15-12-1 UFC) vs. Jeremy Stephens (29-22 MMA, 15-19 UFC).
