BERLIN — Elsie Barna is the lone senior on the Berlin Brothersvalley softball team. She was recognized ahead of the team's Inter-County Conference matchup against McConnellsburg, Friday, May 8. On top of the Senior Day recognition, Barna was surprised with another honor.
She was announced as the inaugural Berlin Brothersvalley softball Boosters scholarship award recipient, receiving $1,000. "That was awesome. They definitely surprised me," said Barna.
"I knew nothing about it. This makes me feel so honored. It makes me realize that everyone does care.
