Recently released Colts' linebacker lands with new team
A recently released linebacker by the Colts has landed with a new team.
Linebacker John Bullock, who was recently released by the Indianapolis Colts , has landed with a new -- old -- team. According to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers claimed Bullock off waivers following his release by the Colts . Bullock was claimed by the Colts in early January after Tampa Bay had released him at that time.
Bullock went undrafted in 2025 out of Nebraska and signed with the Bucs as a UDFA. He appeared in two games last season defensively, playing six snaps, according to PFF . Bullock was, however, a core special teams contributor, playing 252 snaps across four different phases.

Ballard also signed West Weeks and Tahj Chambers in undrafted free agency , further adding to the depth of the linebacker unit.
