This week, the former Atlanta Falcons and New York Giants kicker is in rookie minicamp with the New Orleans Saints , just trying to prove somehow that he deserves a job. For kickers, rookie minicamp isn't quite the same -- kicking is kicking regardless of the stage, and Koo is just trying to get his leg in front of coaches in hopes of winning a job somewhere. He missed an early game-winner with Atlanta, which after a bumpy 2024 season led to them parting ways. In his last game with the Giants, Koo missed two field goals from beyond 50 yards, and that led New York to move on in a season when they tried a bunch of different kickers just to get through the year. It doesn't seem like Koo has a real chance to win a job with the Saints.
