The Denver Broncos haven't made a ton of additions this offseason, with their lone move being the addition of Jaylen Waddle in a blockbuster trade.
But, for the most part, they've only made additions through the NFL Draft. However, following the NFL Draft and the first wave of free agency, there is one spot on the roster that's an issue. ESPN's Aaron Schatz identified the right defensive end spot opposite of DE Zach Allen as the biggest roster hole on this team.
"First-team All-Pro Zach Allen holds down the left end spot in Denver's 3-4 base defense, but who will be on the right side? " Schatz writes. While they do have some internal options they could turn to, the Broncos also have ample options still available in free agency who are worth considering.
Broncos can resolve DL issue in free agency While Allen is the starter at one of the Broncos' DE spots, they have a bit of uncertainty opposite his spot on the defense. Currently, Malcolm Roach, Tyler Onyedim, Sai'Vion Jones, Jordan Jackson, and Kristian Williams make up the options on the depth chart. But if the Broncos do wind up adding more to that position, instead of a trade, they can add one of the many defensive linemen still in free agency.
