The rematch between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquaio is shifting dates and venues, according to multiple reports.

After recent comments from Floyd Mayweather Jr. cast doubt over the status of a sanctioned rematch against Manny Pacquiao, the pair have seemingly come to an agreement ahead of their September showdown. Netflix originally announced it would broadcast the fight from the Sphere in Las Vegas on Sept.

19, but multiple reports indicate the bout has since shifted to a new venue and date, while an agreement remains in place. Boxing Scene's Lance Pugmire reported on May 7 that the fight is now being planned for the following Sept. 26, with the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas expected to be the host venue.

The following day Ring Magazine's Mike Coppinger reported the bout will be held on Sept. 25 at nearby T-Mobile Arena, citing Manny Pacquiao Promotions CEO Jas Mathur. Both reports indicated Mayweather and Pacquiao have come to an agreement for their fight to continue as a professionally sanctioned bout, meaning no matter when or where they square off, Mayweather's perfect 50-0 record will be at stake come fight night. Along with his plans to face Pacquiao, Mayweather has also announced exhibition bouts against Mike Tyson and Greek kickboxer Mike Zambidis. Mayweather, 49, first revealed plans to face Tyson last September, but that bout remains without a date or location , despite both Hall of Famers indicating they still plan to face off in the ring.
