Summit League transfer star gives USC a big-time sharpshooter
The Trojans continue to build their roster through the transfer portal, and they're adding a mid-major star who shot 39% on threes last year.
The USC Trojans appear to be doing everything they possibly can to avoid finishing 7-13 for the third straight season in Big Ten conference play. USC has milked the transfer portal this offseason, with its most recent commitment coming from Isaac Bruns. The former South Dakota guard is one of college basketball's most underrated scorers.
Bruns averaged over 20 points per game as a junior for the Coyotes this past season, after averaging over 14 points as a sophomore, vacillating between the bench and starting. Bruns became a much more efficient long-range shooter last season, improving from an average of 32 percent as an underclassman to over 39 percent last year. Committed.

The Trojans are hopeful that they'll see the version of Bruns that lit up the scoreboard in the Summit League. Contact/Follow @College_Wire on X and @College_Wires on Threads. Like our page on Facebook to follow ongoing coverage of college sports news, notes, and opinions.
