Elite DL spurns Georgia football for Florida

Elite defensive line recruit Stive-Bentley Keumajou has committed to the Florida Gators , per Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett . Keumajou made the announcement live and the Georgia Bulldogs remained in the mix for the talented lineman until he reached a final decision. Keumajou is listed as the No.
37 overall defensive lineman and the No. 530 overall player from the class of 2027, per the 247Sports Rankings . The big man would have been a solid addition to Georgia’s 2027 recruiting class, and Keumajou could easily emerge as a star during his time at Florida next season.
He is ranked as the No. 29 overall player out of Florida. Keumajou ultimately decided to stay home despite receiving interest from coach Kirby Smart and the rest of the Bulldogs’ staff.
With Keumanjou's commitment, Florida has the nation's No. 6 recruiting class. The Gators have 13 total commitments and a significantly larger class than Georgia, who has just seven commitments.
