Real Madrid fine Federico Valverde, Aurélien Tchouaméni after training ground altercation

Valverde will miss Sunday's El Clásico against Barcelona, while Tchouaméni is expected to be available.

Real Madrid has fined Federico Valverde and Aurélien Tchouaméni half-a-million-euro ($588,000) following an altercation between the teammates in training. The punishment comes a day after Valverde and Tchouaméni got physical during a training match with words being exchanged. Afterward, Valverde confronted Tchouaméni in the changing room and Valverde reportedly needed stitches after suffering a cut following a fall into a table.
