Washington football makes top five for versatile three-star DB
The Washington Huskies are among the five teams still in the hunt for versatile California DB Jeovanni Henley.
The Washington Huskies made the cut for an intriguing talent in the secondary on Thursday night, when three-star defensive back Jeovanni Henley cut down his list of 20 offers to five. The 6-foot, 165-pound product of Juniperro Serra High School in Palo Alto, California, who is ranked as the nation's No. 96 athlete and No.
106 player in California in the 2027 class, listed Jedd Fisch's team alongside BYU, California, Penn State, and Texas as programs still in the running for his services. Henley has lined up official visits to three of those programs, beginning with UCLA on June 5, before heading to Cal on June 11, and wrapping things up at Washington on June 19 . However, it will be worth monitoring if the Longhorns and Nittany Lions work quickly to set up an official trip with him after both programs extended their offers in April.

He's lined up all over the secondary, taking snaps at nickel, outside corner, and safety, while showing off quick instincts to break on both passes thrown in his area and ball carriers. He also shows off great physicality for his size as a tackler, which has become a staple on the back end under Walters and secondary coach John Richardson. Henley's top five is very similar to that of his teammate, four-star safety Malakai Taufoou , and the duo is set to visit both Cal and Washington together.
