The former Leicester Tigers academy number eight is the second highest try-scorer in the Champ this season, having crossed the line 19 times. Three of those came against Warriors this term - two in the Archers' narrow 24-22 defeat at Sixways in November and another in their 22-7 win at home at the end of February.
Cherry, who has also played for Tigers and Northampton in the Prem Cup, has been with Nottingham for the last three years. "It's great to be signing with Worcester," Cherry said. "The club has a knowledgeable coaching staff and an exciting playing group and I'm really looking forward to getting stuck in and playing at Sixways.
" He becomes the sixth new player to be brought in for 2026-27 in recent days following deals for props Joe Jones and Cam Miell, hooker Jack Dickinson, forward John Hawkins and lock Owain Evans. Fourth-placed Worcester play Coventry, one place and two points above them, in their final game of the season on Saturday (15:00 BST).
