After the 2026 NFL Draft, what needs do the Vikings have on the roster?

The Minnesota Vikings made some unique picks and a big trade during the 2026 NFL Draft. Interim general manager Rob Brzezinski and the coaching staff had their fingerprints all over this draft class and roster now. That means heading into the 2026 season, things have to be feeling pretty good.

However, is this roster truly set up for success? That remains to be seen. But as Alec Lewis of The Athletic points out , there is a lot going on with the current state of the Vikings roster.

Lewis writes, "The fun has only just begun. Soon, the Vikings will find their way to the field for offseason workouts. These sessions will start to shape what is bound to be a fascinating training camp and 2026 season.

The Vikings are betting big on internal development, and the day-to-day improvement will be worth monitoring. There are other massive storylines to follow, too, such as left tackle Christian Darrisaw’s health, a potential extension for right tackle Brian O’Neill and Dallas Turner’s ability to fill Jonathan Greenard’s shoes at edge rusher? These are all critical layers as the Vikings push past the disappointment of 2025.
