The only scoreless performance the Dodgers got from their rotation came from Justin Wrobleski on Sunday, as he continues to prove himself as a viable big league starter. Entering the 2026 season, Wrobleski had made just eight starts over his first two seasons, posting a 6. 55 ERA over 45 1/3 innings.

Wrobleski made one relief appearance against the Cleveland Guardians before making his first start against the Toronto Blue Jays, and since then, he’s been one of the most effective pitchers in all of baseball. Wrobleski is leading the Dodgers with five wins on the year, and is just second in the entire sport behind teammate Shohei Ohtani in ERA for all pitchers with at least 30 innings. His strikeout rate is among the league worst, registering just 15 over 36 innings, but where he makes up for it is his ability to miss barrels.

Opposing hitters are hitting . 197 against him with zero home runs while barreling up the ball just six percent of the time for a . 222 average on balls in play.

With Blake Snell set to return to the team after one more rehab start in Triple-A, there is a very strong case for Wrobleski to keep his spot in the rotation, per Brent Maguire of MLB. com . How Wrobleski will perform the rest of the year is unclear.
