WNBA rosters were required to be finalized by Thursday, May 7, by 5 p. m. ET, with the season set to begin Friday, May 8.
While Kentucky had four players selected in this year's draft, only one was able to work her way onto a roster at the end of the preseason. She joined an established star and a 2025 first-round pick to give UK a trio of WNBA players to start the season.
