On Thursday night, the team made another move to strengthen the offense, signing veteran wide receiver Jauan Jennings to a one-year pact . Jennings was one of the most reliable pass-catchers for the San Francisco 49ers over the last two seasons, but he'll now play elsewhere for the first time. Now, the Vikings have an enviable wide receiver trio of Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, and Jennings.
With this move, the writing could now be on the wall for one recent draft pick. Jennings signing could be bad news for Tai Felton In the 2025 NFL Draft, former general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah selected receiver Tai Felton out of Maryland. Hopes were high for Felton, as he had good hands and quick feet in college, and the Vikings didn't have the best receiver depth.
Well, Felton failed to do much as a rookie. The Maryland product played in all 17 games, but managed just three catches for 25 yards and mostly saw the field on special teams. This is a bad sign for a third-round pick, especially when the receiver room, aside from the top, wasn't that special.
