The Cleveland Cavaliers are in the playoffs, and their midseason trade acquisition is shrinking. It's happened everywhere he's been, and it's happening again. On Thursday night in Detroit, Harden was 3-for-13 from the floor, including 0-for-4 from 3-point range.
He had four turnovers compared to just three assists. It wasn't all his fault. Sometimes, shots don't fall.
And he certainly deserved a few more assists that his teammates didn't finish off with makes. But still. This has been his narrative, and with the Cavs now in a 2-0 series deficit to Detroit, it may not be changing.
