UFC Vegas 117 loses fighter due to injury
Next week's UFC card is in need of a welterweight.
UFC Fight Night 276 is down a man. Nicolas Dalby is out of his welterweight bout vs. Jeremiah Wells at Meta APEX in Las Vegas due to an undisclosed injury.
Two people with knowledge of the matchup recently informed MMA Junkie of the change but asked to remain anonymous as the promotion is seeking a replacement. Dalby (24-6-1 MMA, 8-5-1 UFC) aimed to turn a standalone victory over Saygid Izagakhmaev into a winning streak. The extent of his injury is not known.
Looking to keep momentum from a November win over Themba Gorimbo, Wells (13-4-1 MMA, 5-2 UFC) is expected to remain on the card as long as the promotion can find a replacement opponent. Win or lose, it's likely he'll hope for a quick turnaround with UFC 330 being in his native city of Philadelphia. The UFC Fight Night 276 lineup includes: Arnold Allen vs.
Melquizael Costa Doo Ho Choi vs. Daniel Santos Rodolfo Bellato vs. Modestas Bukauskas Timmy Cuamba vs.
