Browns owner Jimmy Haslam, who owns 25% of the Milwaukee Bucks, said he intends to spend more time with his NBA team this season

The Cleveland Browns have been known to have an owner willing to mix it up in the day-to-day operations of the team since Jimmy Haslam purchased the team. However, since purchasing the Browns, the Haslam Sports group has also purchased a stake in the MLS's Columbus Crew and the NBA's Milwaukee Bucks . And after the Bucks missed the playoffs and fired head coach Doc Rivers, it appears that Haslam intends to turn more of his attention to the NBA and away from the NFL.

Here is what Haslam had to say via Cleveland dot com : "Do I think we’ll be here more? I do. And very, very excited to continue working with (GM) Jon (Horst), and we’ve already established a great relationship with Taylor — to work with him and the guys to build the kind of team that this community deserves.

” If Haslam is spending more time in Milwaukee, that would equal less time in Cleveland. This does not necessarily mean that the Haslam Sports Group will have less hand in the franchise, however, as his son-in-law, JW Johnson, is very involved with the franchise still as a managing partner. Regardless, perhaps a split-minded Haslam is a good thing for the Browns.
