However, it remains a similar result. The Pistons outrebounded the Cavaliers again. While the Cavaliers committed almost half the turnovers as in Game 1, the turnovers tonight came at the wrong time.
The largest statistical disparage in Game 2 was three-point shooting. Detroit was a very respectable 50% from behind the arc, while Cleveland shot 7-for-32. Turnovers and 'bad' three point shooting has kept Cleveland from being in a position to win late.
Detroit holds serve at home and now will travel to Cleveland for Game 3. Cleveland was 27-14 at home during the regular season. However, they will need to improve or reduce the three-point shooting and do a better job protecting the ball if they hope to make this a series.
