Caleb Lomu's flight to Boston ahead of the New England Patriots' rookie minicamp is one he will never forget.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass — Caleb Lomu's flight from Arizona to Boston on American Airlines had a nice heartwarming touch. The New England Patriots' first-round pick took the field alongside Robert Kraft and Jonathan Kraft on Thursday, as he was officially welcomed to Gillette Stadium. And with that, Robert told a humorous story while introducing the tackle regarding his trip to Foxborough.

Specifically, the pilot on Lomu's flight just so happened to be his uncle, Curtis Tanner. "He texted my mom the day before, two days ago, and he was like, 'Hey, what flight is Caleb on? I just got assigned to this last-minute flight to Boston,'" Lomu explained.

"So it ended up being the exact same flight. " But, his uncle wasn't going to let him on the flight without having a bit of fun first. "He's the type of uncle to where he's going to embarrass you a little bit.

So, I knew it was coming. So my family told me to film it," he added. "And so I got on the plane.
