NFL schedule release is coming soon
The release of the 2026 NFL schedule now has a release date.
If it seems like the NFL schedule is coming out later these days, it's because it is. With all the different channels and streaming services vying for games, the NFL is waiting until after the draft so they can haggle over who gets what games and which will be in primetime. Well, the draft is now two weeks in the rear view and the NFL is finally gearing up to release the scheule.
According to a report, the official release will occur next week on either Wednesday May 13 or Thursday, May 14. Per @sherman4949 of CNBC, the NFL Schedule Release is expected to take place next Wednesday or Thursday (May 13 or 14). Ahead of the full release, ESPN and other broadcast partners are expected to announce select games during their Upfront presentations as they did last year.
