UH Hilo eliminated from PacWest tourney
The Hawaii Hilo softball team was eliminated from the PacWest Championship in a 10-2 loss to Jessup on Wednesday in La Mirada, Calif. Korrie Almond scattered eight hits in a complete-game performance for the No. 4 Warriors (26-23).

2 Biola 7-6 on Wednesday, and was the first team eliminated in the four-team, double-elimination tournament. Chaminade men’s golfers finish fifth The Chaminade men’s golf team finished fifth at The PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship, which concluded Wednesday in West Palm Beach, Fla. The Silverswords shot a 302 on Wednesday to finish with a three-round total of 924.
Western New Mexico won the six-team Division II competition with 890. Chaminade’s top golfer was Cody Dao, who finished 12th at 15-over 228. WNM’s Jacob Alcorta won D-II with a 213.
