NFC North team requests to interview 49ers exec for open GM job
One San Francisco 49ers executive is getting another interview to lead a team's front office after failing to land a different job earlier this year.
While some teams turned over their front offices earlier this offseason, others waited until after the 2026 NFL draft to do so, including the Minnesota Vikings , who fired Kwesi Adofo-Mensah back in January. The Vikings are beginning their search for Adofo-Mensah's replacement, and they've reportedly asked the San Francisco 49ers for permission to interview assistant general manager RJ Gillen for the job.
