The Florida State Seminoles were originally scheduled to host the Georgia Bulldogs at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee, Fla.

during the 2027 season, and later travel to face the Bulldogs in Athens, Ga. in 2028. However, that's not going to happen.

Both schools mutually agreed to cancel the home-and-home series on Thursday. This was a strategic move to allow for a neutral-site set of games. The agreement from 2019 added a ton of buzz for both fan bases.

But the cancellation and eventual rescheduling will be interesting. This robs fans of the home turf experience with the likelihood of neutral site games in Orlando, Tampa and Atlanta as projected host cities. The Seminoles and Bulldogs are going to capitalize on more revenue at the fan's expense to travel further and spend more.
