Michigan State-Notre Dame football kickoff time announced
When the Michigan State and Notre Dame football programs get reacquainted this season, it'll be under the lights. The Spartans and Fighting Irish will resume a series that dates to 1897 on Saturday, Sept. 19, in South Bend, with kickoff at 7:30 p.
m. The game will be broadcast on NBC/Peacock. It will be the third game on Michigan State's schedule, following home games against Toledo currently scheduled on Sept.
5 and Eastern Michigan on Sept. 12. Michigan State and Notre Dame have met 79 times, but not since back-to-back meetings in 2016-17.
Notre Dame leads the series, 49-29-1. Michigan State is coming off a 4-8 season, and will be playing its first under new head coach Pat Fitzgerald. Notre Dame went 10-2 last season.
