Insider provides update on Aaron Rodgers' rumors involving Steelers, Cardinals
The Pittsburgh Steelers received good news regarding the Arizona Cardinals’ alleged interest in Aaron Rodgers.
There's been a lot of buzz surrounding the Pittsburgh Steelers and Arizona Cardinals potentially battling to sign Aaron Rodgers . But one insider has all but put an end to the speculation. As if reports of Rodgers' upcoming visit with the Steelers weren't strong enough evidence, ESPN's Josh Weinfuss took to social media to dash any hope of a potential Cardinals signing.
"I asked a source today if all the noise about Aaron Rodgers going to the Cardinals was real," Weinfuss wrote via X. "'Not at all,' was the response. So, there’s that.
" Yikes. Cardinals wide receiver Kendrick Bourne, who recently attempted to recruit Rodgers to Arizona, may need to step up his sales pitch. Weinfuss' dismissal of the Rodgers-to-Arizona rumor, while great news, was completely overshadowed by multiple reports indicating that Rodgers will visit with the Steelers this weekend and plans to play with the team in 2026.
