Rams have one of the oldest teams in the NFL heading into 2026
The Rams have a mix of young and old, but players like Matthew Stafford tip the scales a bit.
The Los Angeles Rams have one of the most intriguing rosters in the league. For years, the team has operated with a lot of draft picks and has relied on veteran talent from free agency and/or trades. Recently, though, the Rams have added a lot of key components to the roster through the draft that helped build a stable core of stars for their contention window.
As such, the Rams enter the 2026 season with the 26th-oldest roster, per Fantasy Life's Ian Hartitz . The average age of the team's roster is 26. 35, tied with the Atlanta Falcons.
Split between offense and defense, the Rams have the 25th-oldest offense (26. 72) and the 19th-oldest defense (26. 05).
