The Philadelphia Flyers (0-2, 4-4) look to get back in the win column on Thursday when they host the Carolina Hurricanes (2-0, 6-0) for Game 3 of their Stanley Cup Playoff series at Xfinity Mobile Arena. Carolina holds the 2-0 lead after a dominating effort in Game 1, suffocating the Flyers’ offense. In Game 2 , the Flyers put forward a much better effort, hanging with the Hurricanes and taking the game to overtime.

The Flyers might have been the better team in OT, but came away with the loss. Now, the Flyers will look to get back into the series with a win on Thursday, trying to avoid losing the first three games of the series. The Flyers have only scored twice in the series.

Both goals came within the first 5 minutes of Game 2. For the rest of the series, they’ve been held scoreless. Maybe the home crowd can give the Flyers a spark.

Puck drop is at 8:00 p. m. EST at Xfinity Mobile Arena.
