Here are the results and top performances in lacrosse, baseball, softball, golf, and track and field around Livingston County.

If Hartland ever took winning KLAA boys lacrosse championships for granted, that mentality ceased one year ago. The Eagles came away with no KLAA hardware for the first time since 2016 when their 76-game league winning streak ended last season with a 9-7 loss to Brighton . Hartland waited a year to exact revenge on a Brighton team that lost only one this season, scoring the first nine goals in a decisive 14-6 victory on Wednesday, May 6.

The Eagles won the KLAA West championship and earned a berth in the KLAA title game against Plymouth at 7 p. m. Monday, May 11 at Hartland.

“(Revenge) was obviously a factor,” Hartland coach Steven Petersen said. “It had been a while since we lost a conference title. Last year was just a bitter loss, one that they earned.
