Benedictine baseball splits with Cambridge, Game 3 Thursday
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The Benedictine baseball team split a doubleheader with Cambridge in the Class AAAA state quarterfinals at home on Wednesday. Benedictine jumped on Cambridge, scoring the first four runs of the ball game, as they cruised to a 7-4 victory.
In the second game, with the game tied at two in the bottom of the seventh, Benedictine threw a wild pitch and the runner from third scored to give Cambridge a 3-2 victory. Game 3 will be Thursday at 4:30 p. m.
