Virginia Tech basketball: Oklahoma State G Jaylen Curry commits to Hokies

Another addition for the Hokies for next season.

On Wednesday, Young added another piece, landing a commitment from Oklahoma State guard Jaylen Curry. Curry, a 6-foot-1 guard from Charlotte, North Carolina, played at Calvary Christian Academy (Florida) in high school and initially committed to the University of Massachusetts. In his first year at UMass, Curry averaged 18 minutes and 7.

4 points per game. As a sophomore, Curry started all 29 games he played, averaging 30 minutes, 13. 3 points, 3.

9 assists and 3. 8 rebounds per game. Curry transferred to Oklahoma State for his junior season.
