Hawaii juniors Tread Rosenthal and Louis Sakanoko were named to the AVCA All-America first team today. Rosenthal, who is one of four finalists for the AVCA Men’s Collegiate Player of the Year award, is a repeat selection to the team as a setter. Sakanoko, a 6-foot-5 outside hitter, is a first-time selection.

Hawaii sophomore Adrien Roure was named to the AVCA All-America second team as an outside hitter after making the first team last year. UH junior libero Quintin Greenidge and sophomore middle blocker Justin Todd earned AVCA honorable mention All-America status. Hawaii (28-5) advanced to the Final Four with a win over Southern California in four sets on Saturday.
The second-seeded Rainbow Warriors will play Big West rival and No. 3 seed Long Beach State in the semifinals on Saturday at 3:30 p. m.
