Watch the 2026 Monaco Grand Prix Live in IMAX: Tickets On Sale Now
Monaco on an IMAX screen sounds like a great idea to me. The Circuit de Monaco is essentially a moving art installation with walls close enough to touch, elevation changes, tunnels, the harbor… It’s the perfect race to watch on the big screen. Apple TV and IMAX have teamed up to bring five of the sport ‘s most iconic rounds to at least 50 IMAX theaters nationwide in 2026.
The Monaco Grand Prix is the second stop on that list, hitting screens on June 7 at 9 a. m. ET.
Tickets are on sale now through imax. com with the event running two and a half hours in total, with a 15-minute pre-show block built in before the cars actually take to the streets of Monte Carlo. Pricing sits at approximately $30 per ticket.
Why This Partnership Exists The IMAX collaboration is part of Apple TV’s first season as the exclusive U. S. broadcaster for Formula 1 .
Apple reportedly paid $750 million for those rights on a five-year deal . Dropping F1 races into IMAX theaters is the kind of thing that makes sense when you’re trying to entice the US population. This it’s not just a streaming platform play, they’re trying to build Formula 1 in to something bigger.
