Broncos choose interesting quarterback for veteran tryout

Yahoo Sports

Veteran quarterback Nathan Peterman will try out at Broncos rookie minicamp this week.

E. J. Warner won't be the only quarterback at Denver Broncos rookie minicamp this weekend.

The Broncos have also invited Nathan Peterman as a veteran tryout quarterback, according to a report from KUSA-TV's Mike Klis . Peterman (6-2, 220 pounds) is a 32-year-old veteran who has spent time with five NFL teams, most recently spending time on the Atlanta Falcons' practice squad in 2024. Nine years ago, Peterman had what might have been the worst half of quarterback play in the NFL's modern era .

As a rookie with the Buffalo Bills in 2017, Peterman went 6-of-14 for 66 yards with no touchdowns and five interceptions in a 54-24 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Peterman was then benched at halftime. Since then, Peterman has spent time with the Raiders , Chicago Bears , New Orleans Saints and Atlanta.

He will now get another opportunity in Denver. This story will be updated. Social : Follow Broncos Wire on Facebook and Twitter/X !
