Yahoo Sports

Former teammates at Duke, Isaiah Evans is expected to reunite with Cooper Flagg on the Dallas Mavericks according to this NBA mock draft.

Just like ACC Player of the Year Award winner Cameron Boozer, Isaiah Evans also declared for the NBA Draft. Evans played two seasons for the Blue Devils , averaging 15 points per game as a sophomore on 36. 1% shooting from three-point range.

Although Evans is expected to go in the first round, he could possibly slip to round two. In a recent NBA mock draft put together by Jonathan Wasserman, Evans was predicted to go 30th overall as the last pick in the first round. Currently, the Dallas Mavericks own that pick, giving Evans an opportunity to reunite with his former teammate Cooper Flagg.

The duo shared the court during the 2024-25 season, but Evans was used as a reserve, only starting in three of 36 games, averaging 13. 8 minutes per contest. With a chance on a young team like Dallas, Evans could see increased opportunities as opposed to late-round picks drafted by contending teams.
