Correa was 0 for 4 in the Astros' 8-3 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday in Houston.
He said he sustained the tendon injury while taking swings in the batting cage Tuesday before the Astros' 2-1 win over the Dodgers at Daikin Park. "It's tough," said Correa, who missed Tuesday's game. "Not what I was expecting.
Now it's time to deal with it, face it head-on and focus on the rehab. " Correa told reporters that he felt and heard a "pop" from the ankle while he was taking a swing in the batting cage. He then fell to the ground and couldn't put weight on his left foot.
