Tuesday’s 2026 NHL Draft Lottery couldn’t have gone worse for the Chicago Blackhawks. Entering the night, GM Kyle Davidson & Co. had the second-best odds of landing the No.

1 overall pick, but the ping pong balls didn’t fall in their favor. Instead, the Blackhawks received the fourth selection in the 2026 NHL Draft, which is as far as they could have fallen in the Lottery.
