Blue-chip in-state wide receiver names FSU a top six school
Four-star wide receiver Elias Pearl, a 2027 prospect, has revealed that Florida State is in his top six schools.
Florida State has gotten several commitments on the defensive side of the ball in the 2027 recruiting cycle, but they haven't secured a wide receiver yet. Four-star recruit Elias Pearl is one of their top targets, and he's narrowing his recruitment down. According to On3's Hayes Fawcett, Pearl is down to six schools that he's considering.
FSU was named one of them along with the Georgia Bulldogs , LSU Tigers , Florida Gators , Ole Miss Rebels, and North Carolina Tar Heels . FSU was a little late to the party as they didn't offer Pearl a scholarship until February. They did, however, get Pearl on campus in early April for an unofficial visit.
Florida , Virginia Tech, Georgia , and Ole Miss have official visits scheduled with Pearl this summer, which the Seminoles need to look into. It was a breakout junior season for Pearl at Port Charlotte High School. He racked up 69 receptions for 1,052 yards and 13 touchdowns.
As a runner, Pearl registered 253 yards on 40 carries and put up 11 scores. Also, Pearl ran back two kickoffs for touchdowns. Rivals' industry rankings have Pearl listed as the No.
