Predicting where remaining NFL free agents will sign

Yahoo Sports

The NFL draft is over, but the work is not done. Not by a mile. Now it’s the post-draft free-agent market, where teams fill remaining holes for a variety of reasons – veteran depth, prove-it deals.

upshot plays, emergency plans. All the things. It’s also quietly where seasons can be won or lost.

With that in mind, here’s my read of a few of the top remaining NFL free agents and where they should land. MORE: Joe Burrow, Justin Jefferson prepared for Met Gala by watching an unexpected show Jauan Jennings – Vikings Jan 11, 2026; Philadelphia, PA, USA; San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings (15) walks off the field after win against the Philadelphia Eagles in an NFC Wild Card Round NFL game at Lincoln Financial Field. Mandatory Credit: Eric Hartline-Imagn Images He’s a reliable, physical receiver who blocks, plays through contact, and fits a team that needs grown-up snaps outside.

And Minnesota needs functional targets outside Jefferson and Addison. Taylor Decker – Bears Chicago is built to win now and needs stability up front. Decker makes so much sense as a plug-in veteran who shores up protection and keeps the offense hopping.

Stefon Diggs – Rams My bet is he stays unsigned until the legal mess clears. The talent is still there, but the trial story is going to stall his market. The Rams are the type of team that will take the swing on a one-year prove-it deal to keep up with the Joneses.
