The New England Patriots decided not to take a wide receiver in the 2026 NFL Draft despite having a pressing need for one leading up to the event, but next year will present a new class of top prospects to choose from. " Coleman-Williams went for 689 receiving yards and four touchdowns on 49 receptions last season at Alabama.

He was more of a volume receiver for the Crimson Tide as a freshman in 2024, where he went for 865 receiving yards and eight touchdowns with only one less reception (48) than in 2025. The Patriots are expected to trade for Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A. J.
