WNBA general managers have spoken, and their preferred franchise player is not Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark. The WNBA released its annual GM survey ahead of the league’s 30th season, which tips off May 8 . The poll covered a multitude of league-related topics.

Dallas Wings star and reigning Rookie of the Year Paige Bueckers topped the results with 33 percent of the votes. Clark came in second, tied with four-time MVP A’ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces at 20 percent each. Dominique Malonga of the Seattle Storm finished third at 13 percent.
Breanna Stewart of the New York Liberty and Napheesa Collier of the Minnesota Lynx also received votes.
