Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani fools Jose Altuve into embarassing swing originally appeared on The Sporting News . Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here . It was a pitching duel Tuesday night between Los Angeles Dodgers ace Shohei Ohtani and Houston Astros pitcher Peter Lambert.

Lambert had a scoreless night in seven frames, while in as many innings, Ohtani gave up two earned runs. But the Dodgers star also struck out eight hitters. Among those strikeouts was a nasty one, where Jose Altuve was completely fooled.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, the Astros slugger came out to bat for the third time against Ohtani. The first occasion was a strikeout and in the second plate appearance, he was flied out. The third one was probably the nastiest and most embarrassing one.

Ohtani started with an away pitch. The next two pitches were strikes. Altuve saved himself from a strikeout by hitting two straight foul balls.
