Diggs was accused of felony strangulation and assault and battery against his personal chef Jamila โ€œMilaโ€ Adams.

Adams testified that Diggs slapped and choked her during a dispute over payment in his Massachusetts home in December. Diggs pleaded not guilty in a hearing in April. Stefon Diggs tears up after being found not guilty of the charges brought against him, which included allegations of strangulation and felony assault involving a former employee.

Judge Jeanmarie Carroll at one point reprimanded Adams for her conduct on the stand. Diggs played at Maryland from 2012 until 2014. Over his college career, he logged 14 touchdowns and averaged 14.
