No respect in the offseason for Bo Nix

The Denver Broncos and Bo Nix are once again getting the short end of the stick

DENVER, CO - JANUARY 17: Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix (10) walks off the field after the AFC Divisional Round game against the Buffalo Bills at Empower Field at Mile High on January 17, 2026 in Denver, Colorado. (Photo by Dustin Bradford/Icon Sportswire via Getty Images) | Icon Sportswire via Getty Images Here is what I know about the NFL media cycle in this slow part of the NFL year: Hope springs eternal – every fan base thinks they have a shot (and I kinda dig it) The MSM will gush over the Chiefs and the Chargers, using no foundation of logic whatsoever The Broncos will get ranked either 3rd or 4th in the division and get very little respect In our lead-off NFL link today, we get an opportunity to fill up this empty part of the NFL year with talk about another meaningless ranking list, doing #3 on my list. How in the world do you rank a quarterback who didn’t even sniff the playoffs and another quarterback who got bounced in the divisional round ahead of Bo Nix, who practically willed the Broncos’ offense to success with no serious semblance of a running game in the back half of the season?

Let’s also not forget that he put boot to ass against the Buffalo Bills, earning a trip to the AFC Championship. While I can also laugh at Drake Maye being #1, I do get it. The guy made it to the Super Bowl.

I have no problems with anyone putting him at the top spot. One thing I know for sure after covering for this team for so long is that they look damn good in the underdog getup. Keep on doubting this team.

The play pretty darn well with a chip on their shoulder.
