First up, talkSPORT’s chief football correspondent, Alex Crook reports that Liverpool are weighing up an offer for Bournemouth’s Marcos Senesi.
[🟢] NEW: Liverpool are keeping tabs on Bournemouth defender Marcos Senesi. They are believed to be contemplating making a rival offer for the free agent centre-back. Much could depend on the future of Ibrahima Konate, who is still to sign a new deal at Anfield.

Still, it’s hard to imagine most players would choose Spurs over Liverpool unless guarantees of a starting spot or playing time are involved. Crook brings up Konaté‘s extension as possible factor, but from what Ibou said in the mixed zone a week or two ago, that seems done, with some final details to be sorted out so I’m not sure. Additionally, the Senesi rumours, along with that of Jan Paul van Hecke of Brighton from reporting out of the Netherlands over the weekend, seem to suggest LFC are taking a close hard look at centre-backs who are good on the ball and comfortable passing it out of the back.
