It's been an ugly season for the New York Mets , and a lot of that can even be blamed on the injuries they've dealt with on both sides of the baseball.
Juan Soto was out for an extended period, Francisco Lindor is currently out, and others have been sidelined in the early stages of the campaign. The Mets have needed guys to step up, including infielder Bo Bichette, who is now going back to his old role.
