Craig Yeast, who played two seasons for the Cincinnati Bengals, coached at Mercer County High School in Kentucky the past four seasons.
Craig Yeast, a receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals for two seasons in 1999 and 2000, is out after four seasons as the head coach of the Mercer County (Kentucky) High School football team. Yeast's record at Mercer County was 23-23. Multiple reports indicated that Yeast resigned after the Titans were 1-10 in 2025.
Yeast played at Harrodsburg High School, which consolidated with Mercer County in 2006. He starred at University of Kentucky before the Bengals made him a fourth-round pick in the 1999 NFL Draft. In 2000, Yeast had career-bests with 24 catches for 301 receiving yards in 15 games for Cincinnati, making seven starts.
Yeast also played four seasons with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League. Since his playing career ended, Yeast has served as offensive coordinator at Marion County High School in Kentucky, head coach at Bryan Station High School in Kentucky, wide receivers coach at Tiffin University, head coach at Fremont Ross High School in Ohio, and head coach at Kentucky Wesleyan College.
